Does this sound familiar?
You have a limited amount of time to work each week
Whether design is your side hustle, you have children at home, or you just have other interests in life, this course is designed for creatives who want to make the most of the hours they have available for their business each week.
You find yourself getting distracted often
Despite the limited time you have available, it takes you a long time to get into a groove, and you find yourself clicking around mindlessly or prioritizing non-revenue generating tasks. Before you know it, hours have passed.
you are tired of waiting for inspiration to strike
You don’t have the luxury of sitting around waiting for ideas to “flow” to you. Client work is high stakes work – deadlines are constantly looming and you need to be able to produce high-quality work more reliably.
you believe you are capable of working more efficiently
You have heard “good design takes time” for years, but you take it to a whole new level. It can take days or weeks for you to come up with a great idea. You know you can produce great work more efficiently, but have no clue where to start.
you love client work and it is central to your business
Clients are a central part of your business. You may have the odd digital product or two, but managing a variety of client personalities and deadlines is central to your day-to-day working life – and you enjoy it!
you have hobbies and interests outside of your business
You have competing priorities in your life that aren’t receiving the time and attention that they deserve. You want to devote more time to your family and friends, but work keeps finding its way into your nights and weekends.
Are you ready to ditch the overwhelm?

"Taking the Creative on Command course was by far the best thing I could have done for my business this year. After experiencing exponential growth, I was working at a rate that just wasn't sustainable, feeling extremely burnt out, and feeling like I was in a creative rut where I wasn't happy with the ideas I was generating and spending way too much time in front of a computer trying to force them. I came across Olivia's course at such a critical time in my business and its changed the way I work and create.
Creative on Command provides a unique perspective on the design world compared to many of the courses out there and popular themes surrounding what success should look like. I resonated a lot more with the ideas in this course than others and it truly helped me understand what my goals are and how to land there. I would absolutely recommend Creative on Command to any designer, no matter what stage you are at in your business. You'll find so much value and insight in the lessons and will walk away with confidence in your design process, less time sitting in front of a screen, and as a better designer."

“Creative on Command was such a great experience for me! I enjoyed every lesson. Olivia presented all the information concisely where the course is achievable, unlike other courses. I really enjoyed it and was happy that another designer shared similar ideologies as myself in this business. I love that workbook and plan to use it in my business and reflect as time goes on. “Creative on Command is like a breath of fresh air! Olivia is honest and inspiring and I love her mindset on creativity and running her business. It's refreshing in a day and age where social media and "$10k months" try to define what success should look like as a studio owner. I've taken my fair share of courses... but this one is special. I feel like it helped me re-center why I'm doing what I'm doing... and how I'm doing it! Her Daily Design Practice has been SO helpful to implement in my workday and I already feel much better diving into my day. And I'm more productive! I absolutely loved this course and would recommend to anyone – SIGN UP! You won't regret it.”

FAQs
+ 1. Is this course for Designers only?
This course was created from my perspective as a graphic designer working with clients daily. So my best answer would be yes, this course is best suited for designers!
+ 2. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE COURSE?
It really depends on your appetite for learning and how much focused time that you can dedicate to the course. However, because the purpose of this course is to help you work more efficiently, I wanted to acknowledge a major reality from my life before I implemented these tools - there is no way that I was going to sit down to take a 24-module course with 30 hours of video tutorials. I would estimate that you will be able to complete the videos in three to four hours and will require additional time to complete the workbook. Implementing the strategies and measurement tracking are a bit more of a long-term commitment.
+ 3. DO WE RECEIVE ANY FILES OR IS THE COURSE VIDEO ONLY?
Yes! In addition to the 50 page workbook you will also receive a list of DDP prompts, a Project Data Spreadsheet, and swipe files for our client process.
+ 4. WHAT DOES IT ACTUALLY MEAN TO BE CREATIVE ON COMMAND?
To be creative on command means to be in control of your creativity. You are no longer an innocent bystander in your creative process and business. You have control over your ideas, thoughts, and timelines. You have the self-discipline required to be the architect of your client projects, making progress every opportunity that you have, so you never find yourself panicked before a deadline. To be creative on command means you are running a data-driven business – but with heart. You recognize that you don’t have (or don’t want) to spend unlimited hours per week working, so you need to dive into metrics that will help educate you on what types of projects you should pursue moving forward. To be creative on command is to forge your own path – to reject industry norms, and to be at peace with your life and business.
+ 5. CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND?
Because you will be instantly enrolled in the course, we cannot offer refunds at this time. If you are curious if it would be a good fit, or have specific questions, please feel free to reach out at olivia@oliviaherrickdesign.com and we will walk through them!
+ 6. Why did you make this course?
I created this course because it is what I wanted and needed but could not find. I desperately wanted a guide to walk me through how to develop creative concepts more efficiently and build a business around my life, not a life around my business. I am here because I want other creatives to succeed. If you have 5, 10, or 20 hours a week, I want to help you THRIVE in that time frame. I was also tired of hearing the same old sentiments over and over in our industry. $10k months! I have a unique perspectice, and wanted to share it.
+ 7. I LOVE ACTIONABLE CONTENT - IS THIS THE COURSE FOR ME?
Yes! If you like worksheets, prompts, step-by-step to-do lists with checkboxes, swipe files and structure around how to implement them… this is definitely the course for you.
+ 8. I'm just starting out. Would this work for me too?
Absolutely. One of my biggest regrets is that it took having a baby for this reckoning to happen in my business. I wasted a lot of hours that I really did not need to waste. Starting a studio using the structure I outline in Creative on Command would be a beautiful way to begin.
+ 9. I want to move away from client work – is Creative on Command relevant?
If you are hoping to transition to digital products and stop working with one-on-one clients, this course would not be a great fit!
+ 10. Why is this course so affordable?
There's a lot of "industry lingo" going on about investing in yourself, or that you should only charge clients what you are personally willing to pay for coaching or a course. I have heard these exact words from creative coaches / educators and I think that they are extremely predatory. This course was designed to be accessible, attainable, and available to all (if you would like to apply for financial assistance there is a link above). Paying $10,000 for a program is not what is going to make the program. It's actually making changes. Implementing what you learned. Doing the work. I believe you can see results at $100, $1,000, or $10,000 – if you're willing to put in the effort.

“I had no idea how much value and information was included in this course—I thought it was simply about implementing a daily design practice to arrive at ideas more quickly. Instead, it was an inside look at a successful studio with answers to the elusive questions we all have. I learned so much about time management and workflow that I didn't know I needed. What an informative and humbling experience this course has been. Without a doubt, the best investment I made in my business this year!”

Let’s Do This!
